Mechanic 1: Ailment Cycles
From the first frame of battle & every 20sec afterwards, the game will generate a random number from 1-3, and give you a 20sec poison (poison damage: 2000), 20sec paralysis, or 20sec blind. It is possible for the game to give you the same ailment across multiple cycles in a row.
During the Poison cycle, the game checks 10 times per second if you are poisoned, and if not, it will be immediately applied to you. The game also checks 10 times per second if your character has the effect "Poison Immune Determination (1 = Immune, 0 = Cannot be Immune)", and if so, the game will give you a 1sec [Poison Resistance] buff that does nothing.
It does this because the game assumes you are getting your Poison immunity from a [Poison Resistance] buff name, and the game wants to get rid of that buff name by overwriting it. But you can also get "Poison immunity" from the [Event] buff during Christmas, New Years, and Tanabata; and these buffs have a tick rate of 0 (unlike vaccines that tick every 5sec), so these [Event] buffs should provide complete immunity from the ailment.
Everything said about Poison also applies to Blind and Paralysis, & the game will do the same for [Blind Resistance] and [Paralysis Resistance] during their respective cycles.
Mechanic 2: Outflow debuff
At Botanutte HP 80%, 50%, and 20%, the game will generate a random number from 0-6, and give you a 20sec [Outflow] buff name with an effect depending on the number.
0: Movement Speed+1000%, Movement Speed during Combat+1000%
1: Delay+10sec
2: Melee to Boss-50%, Magic to Boss-50%
3: MaxHP+200%, MaxMP+200%
4: Spellburst-100%, Critical Damage-100%

If this mechanic rolls a 0 for the Movespeed+, the game will generate another random number from 0-6, and the effect of that will also be added to the [Outflow] buff.
Mechanic 3: Extra Damage mechanic
This mechanic starts applying at Botanutte HP 20%, but it doesn't seem to do anything unless you get hit twice by his Attack 6 and/or Attack 7 after Botanutte is below 20% HP.
The 2nd time you are hit, you'll be stunned for 3sec, and a timer is set to 3.1sec. This timer probably counts down while you're inside a red circle that's about to activate, or while you're inside a red circle that has already activated. If the 3.1sec countdown reaches 0, the next Attack 6 or Attack 7 you get hit by will also Bleed you for 30sec, and make you lose additional HP equal to [(MaxHP x 0.3) + 10000], which can kill you. The amount of additional damage is sent in a chat message with "Botanutte gave you X damage / ボタニュートから X のダメージを受けた"
